Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before purchasing or using any service offered by AscentAstro ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Virubakshan Manohar, doing business as AscentAstro. By placing an order, making a payment, or accessing your reading, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not proceed with any purchase or use of our services.
AscentAstro is a sole proprietorship operated by Virubakshan Manohar, providing personalised Vedic astrology report services to clients across India and internationally through its website. Our registered correspondence address and grievance contact are provided in Section 21 of these Terms.
AscentAstro reports are provided strictly for the purposes of personal exploration, reflection, and entertainment. They do not constitute, and must not be relied upon as, medical advice, financial advice, legal advice, psychological counselling, or any other form of professional advice regulated by law.
By accepting these Terms, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the following:
Our services are available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By purchasing a reading, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are purchasing on behalf of another person, you represent that you have their informed consent to share their personal birth data with us for the purpose of generating a reading.
AscentAstro currently offers two tiers of personalised Vedic astrology reports:
The scope, content, and sections covered in each tier are as displayed on our website at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to update or modify the scope of these tiers with reasonable prior notice.
Report Generation Method: Our reports are produced using a combination of deterministic astrological computation and AI-assisted drafting, followed by human review. Your birth data is first processed by a Swiss Ephemeris engine to compute precise planetary positions and chart structure. The computed chart data, along with your name and any context you provide, is then processed by an AI language model (Google Gemini and/or Anthropic Claude, depending on the report) to generate a draft of the interpretive written sections of the report. All astrological methodology, scoring frameworks, and interpretation guidelines embedded in the system are designed by Virubakshan Manohar based on five years of Vedic astrology study. Every draft is then reviewed word by word by our astrology team and rewritten wherever necessary before it is dispatched to you. By placing an order, you acknowledge and consent to this method of report generation.
We currently operate at limited capacity — up to five (5) reports per day. Acceptance of your order is subject to availability. Where our daily capacity has been reached, your order is queued for the next available delivery date, and we will communicate the expected delivery timeline at the time of or after your order is received.
Orders are placed by submitting the required birth details form on our website. An order is not confirmed until payment has been received and acknowledged by us.
We accept payment via our payment gateway partner, Razorpay, which supports UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets. Payment is processed securely by Razorpay at the time of checkout; we do not see or store your card, bank, or UPI credentials. An order is confirmed automatically once Razorpay verifies your payment as successful.
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. In the event that GST or other statutory taxes become applicable to our services at a future date, prices may be revised accordingly with notice.
We reserve the right to cancel any order where payment cannot be verified. In such cases, you will be notified and any erroneously received payment will be returned.
Chargebacks and payment disputes: If you initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your bank or card issuer for an order where the report has been delivered in accordance with Section 6, you agree to first contact us directly at ascentastro@gmail.com to resolve the matter before doing so. We reserve the right to contest any chargeback using evidence of delivery, your recorded consent at the time of order, and these Terms, and to decline future orders from any client who files a chargeback for a delivered report without first attempting to resolve the matter with us directly.
Reports are delivered digitally as a secure, personalised web link shared via WhatsApp or email, as selected or as agreed upon during the order process. Delivery is typically completed within the timeframe communicated at the time of order, subject to the volume of pending orders and complexity of the requested reading.
Delivery is deemed complete at the time the report link or document is dispatched to the WhatsApp number or email address you provide. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect contact details supplied by you, network failures on your end, or messages being filtered into spam or promotional folders.
We currently deliver up to five (5) reports per day. During periods of high demand, delivery may extend beyond our standard timeline. We will proactively communicate expected timelines.
If you notice an error in the birth details, question, or other information you submitted, you may request a correction by contacting us via WhatsApp or email as soon as possible after placing your order and before we begin preparing your report. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
Once preparation of your report has begun, we cannot guarantee that corrections can still be accommodated, and any correction made after preparation has begun may extend your delivery timeline. A correction request made after your report has been delivered is treated as a new order and is not covered by your original payment.
This correction window is offered as an operational courtesy and does not constitute a right to unlimited revision of your report's content, interpretation, or conclusions.

All content on the AscentAstro website — including but not limited to text, graphics, design elements, layout, code, and the report template — is the intellectual property of AscentAstro / Virubakshan Manohar and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.
The personalised written content of your individual report is prepared for your private use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, resell, or commercially exploit the content of your report without our prior written consent. Sharing brief personal excerpts for private non-commercial purposes is permitted.
Our refund and cancellation policy is set out in full in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms a part of these Terms and is incorporated herein by reference. Please read it before placing your order.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AscentAstro provides all services "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AscentAstro and Virubakshan Manohar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of or reliance on our services, including but not limited to loss of income, financial loss, relationship breakdown, medical consequences, or psychological distress.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific report that is the subject of the claim.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability which cannot be limited under applicable Indian law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AscentAstro and Virubakshan Manohar from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law; (c) any inaccurate information you provide to us; or (d) any misuse of our services or reports.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services you consent to the processing of your information as described therein.
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic or public health emergencies, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, government action or regulation, or the unavailability, malfunction, or policy change of any third-party service we rely on (including our payment gateway, hosting provider, or AI language model providers).
As AscentAstro is operated by a single proprietor, a force majeure event may also include the proprietor's serious illness, medical emergency, or other circumstances preventing personal performance of the service. In such cases, we will communicate any expected delay to affected clients as soon as reasonably possible and offer a full refund for any order that cannot ultimately be fulfilled.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service to any individual, at our sole discretion, where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, harassment of our team, provision of false information, misuse of our reports, or any violation of these Terms. Where an order is cancelled under this Section before your report has been delivered, we will issue a full refund.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AscentAstro regarding your use of our services, and supersede any prior communications or agreements, whether oral or written, on the same subject.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our business assets, as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India.
For disputes involving amounts below ₹1,00,000, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through the Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 before approaching civil courts.
We retain order records, consent timestamps, and communications relating to your order for the periods described in our Privacy Policy, and may rely on these records as evidence in the event of a dispute.
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via our website or by direct notification where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
